BBC Learning English

The BBC Learning English website won two prestigious innovation awards at a British Council ceremony, and has won several other awards in the past. The main site is intended to help students who are studying English as a second language improve their English language skills.

Throughout the site there are short courses, quizzes, grammar, vocabulary, audio and video lessons to help students of all levels develop their English language skills. But the site isn't just for students.

The BBC's Learn English website also has a teacher's section, which is well known by most teachers, and contains a wide range of written, audio and visual resources for teachers, including many worksheets, lesson plans, teaching ideas and articles on skills.
