English teachers wanted in Verona
Teach in the city of Romeo and Juliet!
The Cambridge School of English in Verona is currently looking to recruit both full time and part time English teachers for the academic year 2014/15. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, energetic and dedicated teachers who can work well within a team. You will be required to teach teenagers, adults and possibly some Young Learners courses.
Experience with Exam preparation classes (e.g. CAE, FCE, PET, IELTS etc), and Business English is preferable. All applicants must be native speakers and should be particularly interested in working with students aged between 11 and 18, both in state schools and in our centre. Experience in teaching children is also desirable.
Full time teachers will be teaching 25 hours a week. The working week is Monday afternoon-Saturday morning or Monday-Friday. Staff meetings are expected to be attended when required. Successful Candidates will be required to supply references.
Please note that we can only consider applications from EU nationals or teachers already resident in Italy and in possession of a full-time working visa/permit.
Applicant Requirements
- • Driving licence is ESSENTIAL
- • Cambridge CELTA,DELTA or Trinity TESOL (cert. or Dip)
- • University degree and 2 years experience (preferably in Italy)
- • Able to attend a face to face interview in Verona
The Cambridge School of English was established in 1953, and is the oldest English Language school in Verona. The centre is not only a Cambridge English platinum exam centre but also runs both the Cambridge CELTA and DELTA courses. We offer varied work with possibility of further training.
