Teach English in Colombia
The Visa English Academy in Manizales, Caldas, in Colombia, is looking for energetic, personable and passionate full-time adult English (ESL) teachers. Manizales is a vibrant city of around 450,000 people, just a 4 hour bus ride from medellin. The difference is that manizales has a much lower cost of living and a relaxing feel to it. The people are extremely friendly, and everything is within walking distance or a short taxi/bus ride away. Manizales is a college town, so the nightlife is bustling on the weekends. This place is not crowded with foreigners, so you can learn and immerse yourself in the culture quickly, especially mastering the spanish language. You must meet the following requirements:
- • Required: U.s. Or e.u. Native/ passport
- • Tefl, tesol, or other esl teaching certficate
- • Minimimum 6 months teaching experience in a similar context
- • Minimum 6 month committment/contract
- • Work a minimum of 20 hours/week-35 hours/week
- • Experience with video projectors and using digital resources
- • Bring your own portable lap top computer that is compatible with projectors
Class types: Full-time teachers for adult esl, levels a1-c1, business english courses, toefl/ielts/sat exam prep, teen classes, children's classes, private, small group and large group classes, online classes.
